Beats Executive Headphones

Want to bask in the lush bass of Beats, but find the bright, highly-visible plastic bodies a little too flashy? Say hello to Beats Executive Headphones ($TBA). As the name might suggest, the Executive skips the plastic for a decidedly more high-end look, with brushed metal finishes on the lower stems and earcups and fine leather on the band — black and silver are the only colors you'll find — while still offering the active noise cancellation and crisp, full audio that you'd expect. Coming soon, or just as soon as Dr. Dre gives the "hell yeah" thumbs-up.

Porsche Design Johnnie Walker Private Bar

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is known as an elegant drink for sophisticated men... and as such, it deserves an equally elegant bar. The Porsche Design Johnnie Walker Private Bar delivers in spades, standing over six feet tall with a brushed stainless steel exterior and interior appointed with more stainless steel, Australian lace wood, and natural shagreen leather, a motion-activated opening sequence, a magnum of cask-strength Blue Label, two regular bottles of Blue Label, and a hidden chilled compartment that rises out of the bar to reveal a bespoke crystal ice bucket, stainless steel tongs, four further crystal glasses and a crystal jug of iced water. If that's a bit too rich for you, there's also The Cube and The Chiller, which offer similar brushed stainless steel and leather construction, but hold only one bottle a piece, have lids that double as ice buckets, and, in the latter case, hold a few drinking glasses, as well.

Cartier Caliber Collection 2010
posted by kokky in March 2010 | tags: Cartier, Watch
The new Cartier Caliber Collection features the first self-winding mechanical movement crafted entirely by Cartier: the calibre 1904 MC. Consider this a move forward that testifies to the priority Cartier gives to developing its own movements, based on research. Striking a nice balance between power and finesse, the Calibre de Cartier watch is exceptionally comfortable to wear. The bezel that embellishes the case plays on contrasts: polished on the exterior, it becomes increasingly dynamic as it approaches the case.
A 28 degree free-fall towards the dial culminates in a fluted ring marked with 120 notches. The dial offers a virile reinterpretation of both the Cartier watchmaking codes and Roman numerals. A transparent sapphire crystal case back reveals the calibre 1904 MC. The Calibre de Cartier arrives in April, starting at $7500

If you’re already a Canon shooter, or simply want to save some money, the T2i also comes in a body-only package for $1400, giving you $400 to put towards a better lens than the middling 18-55 kit glass — in fact, it’ll pretty much cover Canon’s base 50mm f/1.8 prime. read more
